Whittlesey Wordsmiths are a writing group set up as part of the U3A. We meet every first Thursday of the month at 11am at the Scaldgate Centre in Whittlesey all U3A members are welcome as is anyone else for a free taster session. There is a monthly charge of £3 to cover the cost of hiring the venue.
We offer support and discussion about writing, enjoying pesentations from some of our members. Our group includes succesful, talented, published authors and writers, a talented biographer, exceptional proof readers, together with those, who write for fun and entertainment. As a group we have attended writing workshops, meeting other successful local authors.
We grow as we learn from each other.
